Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST)

How to apply for Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST)?

Egyptian applicants will submit the required documents at the postgraduate office, Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University or upload copy of the required documents maximum by 30/6/2021, using the following link:

Foreign applicants will submit the required documents at the postgraduate office, Faculty of Dentistry, Cairo University or upload copy of the required documents maximum by 30/6/2021, using the following link:

The applicant will receive an e-mail:

-If all the required documents were uploaded.

-With link for the admission interview.

-With the admission status so that she/he can submit the original documents at the Faculty Postgraduate Department in case of her/his acceptance.

 

What are the admission criteria?

1.  Bachelor's degree in Oral and Dental Medicine from one of the Faculties of Dentistry in Egypt or an equivalent degree (by the Supreme Council of Universities) from one of the recognized scientific institutes.

2. General grade of good at least and at least good in the subject area (specialty).

3. Having one year of mandatory training (internship).

4. The approval of the employer on her/his enrollment to obtain a CCST, as well as the approval for the student’s full-time assignment throughout the study period.

5. The student submits an application in addition to all the required documents.

6. Passing the English Language Proficiency Exam, TOEFL with a score of four hundred and fifty (450) or its equivalent (IELTS) with a score of seven (7).

7. Approval of the relevant department council.

8. Payment of tuition fees before starting the academic year or according to the specific date announced in the Faculty, and this condition excludes resident doctors and scholarship students. 

 

What are the required documents?

Egyptian applicants:

  1. Transcript with grades.

  2. A certificate of equivalency for graduates of private Universities from the Supreme Council of Universities

  3. Certificate of internship

  4. One-year experience certificate after internship.

  5. The approval of the employer on the registration for the CCST in full-time study addressed to the Dean of the Faculty or Vice-Dean for Graduate Studies (or a modern free doctor’s certificate)

  6. C.V.

  7. Birth certificate.

  8. A copy of the recruitment certificate.

  9. A copy of the national ID card.

  10. Certificate of Proficiency in English Language (TOEFL) with at least score of 450 or its equivalent (IELTS) with at least score of 7.

Foreign applicants:

  1. A certificate of equivalency if the student is not a graduate of the Egyptian Universities; approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs  and the embassy.

  2. A full transcript with grades approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy.

  3. A certificate of internship or a certificate of practicing the profession approved by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs  and the embassy

  4. The birth certificate, attested by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the embassy.

  5. A statement that she/he spent a year of experience after the compulsory training year (internship).

  6. A personal photo.

  7. A valid passport copy.

  8. (TOEFL) with 450 degrees or its equivalent (IELTS) with grades of (7) during the study period and before the registration of the thesis protocol.

  9. C.V.

  10. The payment of EGP 1500 on the account of the International Student Welfare Fund and their clubs No. 4660001000003967 at Banque Misr.
